What's new
Everything we ship and change on Playtest Hub, newest first. The platform is in beta and evolves every week.
Public game catalog, blog and changelog
Active games and Studio profiles can now be browsed without an account. We also opened a blog and this What's new page.
New homepage, legal pages and contact form
A redesigned homepage, Privacy Policy and Terms of Use pages, and a contact form that reaches contact@playtesthub.app.
Richer Activity feed
Activity now shows who made each change, the profile avatar on the left and the game cover on the right. Game status changes also appear in the feed.
Games on Studio profiles and genre selection
Active games appear on the Studio's public profile, newest first, with a playtest indicator. Studios now pick game genres from the same list Testers use.
Profile suggestions
A Suggestions page recommends Testers and Studios based on shared genres, platforms and mutual connections.
New Results dashboard
Each playtest has its own Results with an overview, rating averages and distribution, choice breakdowns and text answers.
Global search
Search Testers, Studios and the builds you can access from the top bar or with ⌘K.
Safer feedback and playtest lifecycle
Feedback is validated on submission, tester limits are enforced, and playtests follow a clear Draft → Recruiting → Active → Closed → Completed flow.
Playtest cancellation
Studios can cancel a playtest with a clear warning. Testers are notified and unused Credits return to the Studio.
Permanent usernames
Every Tester and Studio now has a unique, permanent username used in public profiles.
Follow, Activity and public profiles
Follow Testers and Studios, see their playtest activity and visit public profiles.
Credits and cosmetic Store
Testers earn Credits for feedback and bug reports and can spend them on profile cosmetics.
